The Rugby Rush Weekend will be welcoming the 2014 Senior Inter-Provincial
Touch Rugby Tournament hosted by the South African Touch Association (SATA),
which is sanctioned by SARU.

The rush of 35 – 40 senior provincial teams participating in five divisions
representing ten Touch rugby associations will showcase South Africa’s top
draw talent in the game of Touch.  Divisions will include; Mens Open,
Women’s Open, Mixed Open, Men’s Masters and Men’S B.  Players from every
corner of the country will be in action.  Spectators can expect players from
the following associations to be rushing through their paces:

·         Eastern Gauteng Touch Association

·         Gauteng Touch Association

·         Northern Gauteng Touch Association

·         Soweto Touch Association

·         Free State Touch Association

·         Wild Coast Touch Association

·         KwaZulu Natal Touch Association

·         Boland Touch Association

·         Western Cape Touch Association

·         Western Province Touch Association

SATA, being a member Country of the Federation of International Touch
(F.I.T.) will utilise this weekend to select a Springbok squad to take part
in the Touch Rugby World Cup Tournament that will be held in Coffs Harbour,
Australia, from 29 April – 3 May 2015.  The tournament which is held every
four years currently has South Africa ranked in third place in the overall
world rankings, the team selected will no doubt be searching for the rush to
bring the World Title home!

After the rush of being selected for the SA Squad, squad members will remain
at the Rugby Rush venue to join the SA training camp from 24 & 25 March
